What is Ai Chi?
Ai Chi – Flowing Aquatic Energy is a relaxation and therapeutic modality completed in shoulder deep warm water using a combination of deep breathing and slow, broad movements of the arms, legs, and torso. It is a total body strengthening and relaxation progression performed to slow relaxing music.
Benefits of Ai Chi
Controlled movements, warm water and soothing music are used to help free the body of stress and encourage a state of relaxed awareness, which in turn can decrease stress, insomnia, depression, anger, fatigue, anxiety and confusion.
Ai Chi aims to:

- Improve core strength
- Increase general mobility & awareness
- Decrease stress and encourage relaxation
- Help pain management
You will be introduced to basic concepts such as circular movement, breath control and flowing movements as you experience trunk stability with smooth movement patterns. As you become more familiar with the program, more relaxation will be gained and more attention will be paid to the smallest move of the hand, wrist or eyes.
